Role overview
Hiring Mechanical Engineers with fire fighting experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fire fighting designs, hydraulic calculations, and shop drawings for sprinklers, hose reels, wet and dry risers, and fire pumps.
- Supervise on-site pipework installation, pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning.
- Handle Civil Defence submissions, approvals, and inspections.
- Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and technicians.
- Support annual maintenance visits for fire pumps, sprinklers, and suppression systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of UAE experience in fire fighting systems, including sprinklers, fire pumps, and hose reels.
- Good knowledge of the UAE Fire & Life Safety Code and NFPA 13, 14, and 20.
- AutoCAD skills.
- FM-200 or foam experience and hydraulic calculation software experience are pluses.
- A UAE driving licence is preferred; Civil Defence engineer approval is a strong plus.
- Arabic and English communication is an advantage.
