Role Description
The Mechanical Engineer role at EMRIOM UAE is a full-time, on-site position based in the United Arab Emirates.
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components, preparing detailed CAD models and drawings, and supporting machine design activities from concept through completion.
Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, performing technical calculations, reviewing specifications, and ensuring designs comply with relevant standards and client requirements.
The role also involves contributing to project planning, coordinating with project managers, supporting R&D initiatives, and providing technical input during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to complex projects.
- Proficiency in Machine Design and related mechanical component selection and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for modeling, drafting, and design documentation.
- Skills in Project Management, including scheduling, resource coordination, and progress reporting.
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including testing, data analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline; advanced degrees are an advantage.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multicultural environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in both design and execution phases.
- Previous experience in engineering services or similar project-based environments in the UAE or GCC region is beneficial.
