Role overview
Join a four-person site engineering team at Ken Wilkins Print Company.
Take responsibility for the mechanical reliability and continued operation of the manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and preventative mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown repairs.
- Maintain production and finishing machinery and support compressors, pumps, motors, and mechanical services.
- Respond to breakdowns, minimise downtime, and address potential mechanical failures.
- Take ownership of engineering issues through to resolution.
Requirements
- At least five years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- English language ability is required.
- Applicants must live in the East Midlands and travel reliably to the Colwick site.
- UK work authorisation is required.
Advantageous experience
- Experience with printing, converting, or production machinery, including Komori, Heidelberg, or Bobst, is advantageous.
- The successful candidate should work independently, make sound engineering decisions, and contribute to a small skilled team.
Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am–5:00pm.
- Friday: 8:30am–4:30pm.
Work location
- Work is in person at the Colwick site.
