Minimum qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven duct installation and HVAC experience, including at least six years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to duct installation.
- Preference is given to English-speaking candidates.
Site supervision and installation
- Manage mechanical piping and duct equipment installation across active sites, moving between locations as required.
- Lead crews, technicians, and subcontractors; plan manpower, tools, and materials against work targets.
- Supervise compressed air and chilled water piping installation, modification, testing, and commissioning.
- Oversee installation and hook-up of compressors, dryers, receivers, chillers, pumps, and associated equipment.
- Interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, GA layouts, and specifications; set out site work accurately.
- Oversee pipe fitting, welding, brazing, threading, flanging, supports, pressure testing, and leak testing.
Safety, quality, and coordination
- Enforce HSE requirements, conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments, and maintain a safe, clean worksite.
- Inspect workmanship, prepare snag lists, and close defects before handover.
- Track material use and coordinate site requests with procurement and stores.
- Report progress, manpower, issues, risks, and variations to project or operations management.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, and other trades on progress, access, and inspections.
- Support commissioning and client handover documentation; mentor junior fitters and helpers.
Compensation
- AED 10–20 per month.

- Work location is in person; the role moves between active project sites.
