Mechanic Standard

Requirements

• Must complete or have the equivalent of a Mechanic Apprenticeship
• 1 – 3 years of experience in heavy industry, manufacturing, or mining; experience working with machinery, equipment operation or a closely related field preferred
• Competent in manipulating numbers, quantities, shapes and spaces; able to take precise measurements and calculate necessary dimensions
• Valid Colorado Drivers License
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and manage your time when given multiple tasks
• Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of personnel
• Physical ability to climb, walk, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, make repetitive motions, hear, etc. and the ability to occasionally exert forces up to 100 pounds to lift, carry, push and pull
• Qualified Candidates will be required to demonstrate proficiency through testing
