Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a Mechanic specializing in diesel forklifts.
The Mechanic will inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel forklifts and related heavy equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Daily tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, identifying mechanical and electrical issues, replacing or repairing faulty parts, and conducting post-repair testing.
The role involves maintaining accurate service records, coordinating with supervisors to schedule maintenance, and adhering to all safety and quality standards.
The Mechanic will work closely with operations staff to minimize equipment downtime and support continuous production activities.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair of
Diesel Forklifts
- and related heavy equipment.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance practices, including scheduled inspections and servicing.
- Hands-on expertise with Equipment systems, components, and safety procedures.
- Effective Troubleshooting abilities for mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues.
- Ability to read technical manuals, service bulletins, and equipment schematics.
- Commitment to workplace safety, with knowledge of relevant safety standards and PPE use.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in mechanical, automotive, or heavy equipment maintenance is preferred
- Previous experience in cement products industry will be an advantage.
