Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with an industry-leading MDM vendor platform. Ataccama ONE MDM/RDM is strongly preferred.
- Strong SQL skills. Python scripting is preferred.
- Experience with reference or supplier data, location or address data, or fuzzy matching and entity resolution is a plus.
- Experience in travel, transportation, or enterprise technology sectors is preferred. Familiarity with travel industry data (hotel, rail, air) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize the MDM solution on Ataccama ONE, including the solution architecture, MDM data model, and integration patterns, and perform testing and debugging.
- Build and configure data sources and data consumers on the platform, including file-based (MFT) and API-based integrations.
- Develop and tune ingestion, cleansing, standardization, and match/merge logic across multiple source systems, and improve match accuracy and duplicate rates using measurable results.
- Own the publication layer: design and maintain the data deliveries that downstream consumers depend on, and manage the impact of changes on those consumers.
- Investigate and resolve data quality defects at root cause, including malformed source data, rematch gaps, and cleansing rule errors, and deliver hotfixes with regression testing.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical requirements, estimates, and acceptance criteria.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, workflows, and data mappings so platform knowledge is documented and not held by individuals.
- Act as technical lead for the team: conduct design and code reviews, set development and release standards, and mentor junior developers and contractors.
- Partner with the Ataccama vendor and internal platform teams on upgrades, environment management, performance, and deployments across environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
