Maintenance Control Center (Mcc) Engineer

is responsible for monitoring aircraft technical status, coordinating maintenance activities, managing technical defects, and ensuring maximum fleet availability while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • **AIRCRAFT TECHNICAL MONITORING**
  • 1.
  • Monitor the technical status of the fleet on a 24/7 basis.
  • 2.
  • Review aircraft defects, deferred defects, and technical log entries.
  • 3.
  • Assess the impact of defects on aircraft dispatch reliability and operational capability.
  • 4.
  • Ensure timely troubleshooting and corrective action for technical issues.
  • **MAINTENANCE CONTROL AND COORDINATION**
  • 1.
  • Coordinate all unscheduled and AOG maintenance activities.
  • 2.
  • Provide technical support to line stations and maintenance providers.
  • 3.
  • Monitor maintenance progress and ensure timely return-to-service of aircraft.
  • **DEFECT MANAGEMENT**
  • 1.
  • Review and control MEL, CDL, and DDG applications.
  • 2.
  • Ensure all deferred defects are recorded, tracked, and rectified within regulatory limits.
  • 3.
  • Evaluate recurring defects and initiate corrective actions.
  • 4.
  • Monitor repetitive defects and reliability trends.
  • **AOG RESPONSE MANAGEMENT**
  • 1.
  • Lead and coordinate Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery activities.
  • 2.
  • Arrange technical support, spare parts, tooling, and manpower requirements.
  • 3.
  • Coordinate with Operations Control Center (OCC), Engineering, and Supply Chain departments during AOG events.
  • 4.
  • Minimize aircraft downtime and operational disruption.
  • **FLEET TECHNICAL SUPPORT**
  • 1.
  • Provide real-time technical advice to maintenance personnel.
  • 2.
  • Review troubleshooting data and recommend corrective actions.
  • 3.
  • Assist in resolving complex technical issues affecting flight operations.
  • 4.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and engineering specialists when required.
  • **MAINTENANCE PLANNING INTERFACE**
  • 1.
  • Coordinate with Planning and CAMO departments to ensure maintenance requirements are accomplished.
  • 2.
  • Monitor due maintenance tasks, airworthiness directives, and mandatory inspections affecting operations.
  • 3.
  • Assist in planning maintenance opportunities during operational schedules.
  • **RELIABILITY AND PERFORMANCE MONITORING**
  • 1.
  • Monitor fleet reliability indicators and dispatch reliability.
  • 2.
  • Identify adverse trends and recurring technical issues.
  • 3.
  • Support reliability investigations and corrective action programs.
  • 4.
  • Provide technical reports and fleet performance summaries.
  • **REGULATORY COMPLIANCE**
  • 1.
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with:
  • 2.
  • National Aviation Authority regulations.
  • 3.
  • Operator's Approved Maintenance Program (AMP).
  • 4.
  • Maintenance Control Manual (MCM).
  • 5.
  • MEL/CDL requirements.
  • 6.
  • Continuing Airworthiness requirements.
  • 7.
  • Ensure proper documentation and maintenance records are maintained.
  • **TECHNICAL RECORDS AND REPORTING**
  • 1.
  • Review technical logs and maintenance documentation.
  • 2.
  • Prepare technical occurrence reports and defect summaries.
  • 3.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance control decisions.
  • 4.
  • Support investigations into technical incidents and operational disruptions.
  • **COMMUNICATION AND COORDINATION**
  • 1.
  • Act as the primary engineering focal point during daily operations.
  • 2.
  • Coordinate between:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering.
  • ICAO/EASA/FAA Aircraft Maintenance License (B1/B2 preferred); A1/A2 is minimum requirement.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of airline or MRO maintenance experience.
  • Having experience in Maintenance Control Center (MCC), Line Maintenance, or Technical Services will be an advantage.
