Role Description
The Mathematics and Science (Chemistry/Biology) Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The instructor will teach mathematics and science to learners aged 6 to 18, using clear explanations and engaging activities to simplify complex concepts.
Daily responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, preparing instructional materials, conducting assessments, and providing constructive feedback to learners.
The role involves aligning teaching methods with Premier Genie’s curriculum, integrating practical and technology-based activities, and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
The instructor will also communicate regularly with parents or guardians about learner progress and collaborate with colleagues to enhance program quality.
Qualifications
- Expert in IB, GCSE, IGCSE, A level Mathematics and Chemistry / Biology.
- Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and the ability to teach a range of levels effectively.
- Background in Chemistry and Biology, with the capability to deliver engaging instruction across general science topics.
- Knowledge of
- Chemistry and Biology
- and skill in explaining core concepts through practical examples and problem-solving.
- Experience as a Qualified Teacher, including formal training in pedagogy and classroom management.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning, curriculum alignment, and designing age-appropriate learning activities.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior teaching experience with learners aged 6–18
- Strong communication skills, patience, and an ability to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
- Comfort with integrating technology and hands-on activities into instruction; experience with coding or robotics is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage constructively with parents and guardians.
