Material Handler Fork Truck Operator

Starting pay: $ 20.50/hr

Reporting to the Materials Supervisor, the Material Handler moves castings in different phases of the process to their designated location.

Will also be responsible for providing racks, baskets, and containers as needed.

• Operate a forklift in congested areas around people and equipment.
• Provide containers, baskets, racks as needed to keep production moving.
• Move material throughout facility to their designated location.
• Utilize Plex System to move product within processes.
• Supports FPI process flow/covers breaks when assigned.
• Organizes empty containers and dunnage inside and outside the plant.
• Perform other related duties as required.

High School Diploma or equivalent in relevant field.

Must be able to read and understand work instructions.

Must be able to write and complete required paperwork and enter information into Plex system.

Must have basic math skills – add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.

Must be team oriented.

Must be able to problem solve and troubleshoot.

Must be able to pass mobile equipment certification.

Must have basic computer skills to utilize Plex system.
