Overview
- Material Testing:
- Conduct routine laboratory and field tests including Sieve Analysis, Atterberg Limits, Proctor Test, Field Density Test (FDT), and Concrete Compressive Strength.
- Sample Collection:
- Travel to various construction sites to collect and label soil, water, and material samples accurately.
- Data Recording:
- Maintain precise, legible, and organized records of all test results and observations.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform regular calibration and cleaning of laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Compliance:
- Strictly follow safety protocols and ensure all testing aligns with Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards.
- Reporting:
- Assist the Lab Manager or Engineer in preparing technical reports and summaries for client review.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy samples (up to 25kg–50kg) frequently.
- Comfortable working in outdoor site environments, often involving heat, dust, and uneven terrain.
- Capability to stand for long durations and perform repetitive manual tasks.
