Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Master Production Schedule, translating demand forecasts and commercial input into an executable, capacity-realistic aggregate plan.
• Lead regular S&OP alignment of demand, supply, and financial plans across Operations and Commercial leadership.
• Maintain a rolling demand forecast using actual order and sales data, and reconcile forecast accuracy over time.
• Analyze labor, equipment, and key long-lead material capacity constraints and flag risks to Operations leadership ahead of impact.
• Direct and align planners on MPS execution priorities so the macro plan and MRP-level execution stay consistent.
• Own ERP planning configuration, including demand forecast models, planning horizons, and master scheduling rules.
• Report schedule attainment, forecast accuracy, and inventory and capacity strategy to the Director or VP of Operations.
• Support macro-level new product introduction planning, including ramp curves and capacity build-up plans, with Manufacturing Engineering and the Planner.

Experience and qualifications

• Requires 6+ years in master scheduling, demand planning, S&OP, or supply chain planning leadership.
• Manufacturing, hardware, or start-up/scale-up experience is preferred; robotics or hardware exposure is a plus.
• UAE experience and familiarity with local demand and supply chain dynamics are preferred.
• Requires proven experience leading S&OP and translating demand forecasts into a master production schedule.
• Requires strong ERP experience with demand planning and master scheduling modules, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Requires analytical and cross-functional communication skills, including presenting schedule and forecast risk to senior leadership.
• Requires experience directing or aligning downstream planners or schedulers around a single master plan.
• Requires comfort in fast-paced, early-stage, or scaling businesses.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.

Tools and certifications

• Proficiency in ERP and demand-planning/master-scheduling tools, such as SAP APO/IBP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, and advanced Excel-based S&OP modeling.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification, or equivalent, is an advantage.
