Job Requirements
- Must maintain all current licenses and certifications required on a state and local level.
- Efficient and able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- One (1) year of experience in massage therapy.
Responsibilities
- You will ensure work areas are clean and set according to procedures. Clean and disinfect all equipment daily.
- Understand and use universal precautions when providing services.
- Assess contraindications of guests that may prevent service from taking place.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge and have complete knowledge of all spa services presently offered.
- Suggest to guest's other beneficial treatments offered in the spa and recommend products for home use with a minimum service to sales ratio of 5%.
- You will perform all treatments on services' menu based on current certifications. Begin and end all treatments.
- Understand the ingredients in products to answer guest's questions in a knowledgeable and professional matter and be able to explain the associated benefits to the guests.
- Inform the Spa Supervisor/Spa Director of product needs.
- Assist staff with lifting and storing facility equipment, furniture, and products to help maintain facility and prepare for special events.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
