Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Massage Therapist role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
The Massage Therapist will provide professional massage services tailored to client needs, including relaxation, therapeutic, and specialized modalities, while maintaining a clean and welcoming treatment space.
Daily responsibilities include conducting client consultations, assessing needs and preferences, recommending appropriate treatments, and documenting services accurately.
The role involves supporting stress relief and wellness goals, adhering to health and safety protocols, and following scheduling procedures and operational standards.
The Massage Therapist will also contribute to a positive client experience by communicating clearly, managing expectations, and collaborating with colleagues and management.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on skills in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage, with the ability to adapt techniques to individual client needs.
- Experience or training in specific modalities such as Shiatsu or other recognized massage techniques.
- Ability to support client well-being and Stress Management through safe, effective, and professional massage practices.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, and clear communication with diverse clients.
- Recognized massage therapy certification or diploma from an accredited institution; local licensing eligibility in the UAE is an advantage.
- Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and health and safety standards in a spa or wellness setting.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Previous experience in a spa, wellness center, or similar environment is preferred; basic English communication skills are required, additional languages are a plus.
