Key responsibilities
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and stones to construction drawings and specifications.
- Prepare and apply mortar, cement, and other bonding materials.
- Construct walls, partitions, foundations, and other masonry structures.
- Read construction drawings, dimensions, and levels; measure, cut, and shape masonry materials.
- Perform plastering, pointing, grouting, and minor repairs when required.
- Keep structures straight, level, and aligned, and inspect completed work against quality standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good condition.
- Follow site safety rules and wear appropriate PPE.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other construction workers.
- Keep the work area clean and organized and minimize material waste.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 2,000 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person.
Requirements
- Ability to lay bricks, concrete blocks, and stones according to construction drawings and specifications.
- Ability to prepare and apply mortar, cement, and other bonding materials.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, dimensions, and levels.
- Ability to measure, cut, and shape bricks, blocks, and stones as required.
- Follow site safety rules and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
