Role overview
Hiring physically fit masons for terrazzo, marble, and mosaic installation and finishing work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare subfloors and walls, install underlayments, and lay out divider strips to design blueprints.
- Mix, pour, spread, and hand-trowel epoxy or cementitious terrazzo mixtures with aggregate.
- Grind and polish terrazzo surfaces; grout pinholes and apply sealers.
- Cut, fit, and set stone, glass, or ceramic mosaic tiles to design patterns.
- Patch and refinish terrazzo floors and repair damaged mosaic sections.
- Keep work areas clean and follow silica dust and epoxy handling safety rules.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of marble, terrazzo, or mosaic installation or finishing experience.
- Proficiency with wet saws, floor grinders, polishers, and hand tools.
- Ability to read shop drawings, scale layouts, and design patterns accurately.
- Ability to lift 50 kg or more and work on feet or knees for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and color-matching ability; physically fit and serious about the work.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 2,300 per month.
