Marketing Specialist role focused on digital presence, content creation, social media, community engagement, and creative use of AI services.
Opportunity for an early-career professional to develop marketing skills in a fast-paced startup.
Content and social media
- Create written, static, and video content, including social posts, blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials for B2C and B2B audiences.
- Manage social accounts, create and schedule posts, monitor trends, engage followers, and analyze results to improve engagement.
- Use AI tools for content ideation, creation, and optimization while keeping messaging authentic.
SEO, community, and campaigns
- Conduct keyword research, proofread, and optimize content for search visibility and organic reach.
- Develop community engagement strategies, gather feedback, and build audience connection and loyalty.
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid marketing campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn.
- Work with product, sales, and customer success teams to align marketing with business objectives.
- Track marketing trends, social platforms, and AI developments and continue building expertise.
Candidate qualifications
- Recent graduate or early-career professional in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, including natural-sounding content when using AI.
- Understands social platform trends, best practices, and audience engagement strategies.
- Creative, proactive, organized, and adaptable; able to solve problems, manage several projects, and prioritize tasks.
- Familiarity with Canada’s International Student Program is a plus.
