Built using a modular container system, The Container provides a flexible, scalable, and production-ready environment for local and international artists, promoters, brands, and partners.
Role Description
The Marketing Specialist role at The Container is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah.
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for implementing the marketing plans and campaign strategies developed by The Container’s management team.
This is a hands-on execution role.
The successful candidate will manage event postings, launch and monitor paid advertising campaigns, coordinate promotional content, and ensure that all marketing activities are completed accurately and according to the approved timeline.
The role requires practical experience with Meta Business Suite, Instagram Ads, Facebook Ads, Snapchat Ads, TikTok Ads, and other relevant digital advertising platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the marketing plans and campaign schedules provided by management.
- Manage paid advertising campaigns through Meta Business Suite, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and TikTok.
- Set up campaigns based on the approved objectives, audiences, budgets, locations, and timelines.
- Monitor campaign performance and make day-to-day optimizations when required.
- Publish and schedule event flyers, artist announcements, videos, ticket links, reminders, and other promotional content.
- Manage The Container’s social media posting calendar.
- Ensure that every event is promoted according to the approved marketing timeline.
- Coordinate with designers, photographers, videographers, ticketing partners, artists, and internal teams to collect the required content and information.
- Check that captions, links, dates, artist names, ticket information, and event details are correct before publishing.
- Track campaign results, including reach, engagement, website traffic, conversions, and ticket sales.
- Prepare clear campaign performance reports for management.
- Respond to basic social media enquiries and direct audiences to the appropriate ticketing or customer service channels.
- Provide marketing and social media support during events when required.
- Ensure that all published material follows The Container’s brand guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven practical experience using Meta Business Suite.
- Experience managing Instagram and Facebook advertising campaigns.
- Experience managing Snapchat Ads and TikTok Ads.
- Experience scheduling, publishing, and managing social media content.
- Strong understanding of audience targeting, retargeting, campaign objectives, budgets, and performance tracking.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when handling event dates, ticket links, captions, and campaign schedules.
- Ability to follow approved plans and execute tasks accurately and on time.
- Ability to manage several event campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills.
- Experience in events, entertainment, nightlife, hospitality, or lifestyle marketing is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English is preferred.
- Must be based in Jeddah or able to work full-time on-site in Jeddah.
- A diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred, although strong practical experience will also be considered.
