Marketing Manager, Global Growth & Demand Generation

One of our portfolio companies is looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to lead and scale its global marketing function.

This is not a traditional corporate management role.

We're looking for someone who thrives in execution—someone who rolls up their sleeves every day, challenges the status quo, drives growth, and leads by example.

The Role

  • As the Marketing Manager, you'll own the execution and performance of our global marketing strategy across multiple channels and regions, including Australia, the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
  • You'll be responsible for driving growth across:
  • Paid digital acquisition
  • SEO and organic search
  • Social media
  • Demand generation
  • Website conversion optimization
  • Campaign execution
  • Events, webinars, and field marketing
  • Marketing operations, analytics, and reporting
  • You'll manage a monthly marketing budget of approximately
  • AUD $200,000–$500,000
  • , ensuring every dollar invested delivers measurable business outcomes.
  • This role requires someone who can think strategically while remaining highly hands-on.
  • One day you may be optimizing Google Ads campaigns, the next reviewing landing pages, improving SEO performance, writing campaign copy, launching webinars, or supporting event execution.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Scale and optimize paid acquisition across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, and emerging channels.
  • Drive global SEO strategy to increase inbound traffic and qualified pipeline.
  • Lead social media strategy and improve content performance across key platforms.
  • Plan and execute webinars, customer events, conferences, and field marketing initiatives.
  • Manage external agencies, freelancers, and remote marketing team members.
  • Develop reporting frameworks focused on pipeline generation, CAC, ROI, conversion rates, and marketing efficiency.
  • Continuously test, analyze, and optimize campaigns to improve performance.
  • Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities to accelerate growth.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Leadership to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.

What We’re Looking For

  • We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with exceptional execution.
  • You'll ideally have:
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, preferably within B2B SaaS or technology.
  • Proven hands-on experience across paid media, SEO, demand generation, social media, and event marketing.
  • Strong understanding of modern B2B SaaS growth marketing principles.
  • Experience leading remote or distributed marketing teams while remaining actively involved in execution.
  • A highly commercial, analytical, and data-driven mindset.
  • Demonstrated success growing qualified pipeline and lead generation.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing analytics, attribution, and campaign optimization.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to move quickly, challenge assumptions, and continuously improve performance.

We're specifically looking for someone who has personally planned, executed, and optimized paid campaigns, SEO initiatives, demand generation programs, and social media strategies.

If your primary contribution has been overseeing agency delivery rather than executing marketing initiatives yourself, this position is unlikely to be the right fit.
