Responsibilities
- Provide editorial direction for ongoing communications and oversee communications-channel performance.
- Lead a marketing strategy focused on brand awareness and inbound leads.
- Coach and mentor the small marketing team.
- Collaborate with marketing and accounting staff to develop marketing and business-development skills.
- Support high-quality pitch materials and communications.
- Monitor content performance and use analysis to make improvements.
- Build profile with key audiences through events, digital marketing, and ongoing communications.
Candidate profile
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
- Leadership skills and the ability to articulate strategy and rally others.
- Ability to explain financial concepts clearly and accessibly.
- Familiarity with digital marketing principles and best practices.
- Experience with social media platforms and content marketing tools.
- Strong research skills and ability to grasp industry-specific topics quickly.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong time-management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience and qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Finance, Accounting, or a related field are sought.
- Marketing or communications experience is sought; professional-services experience is preferred.
- Candidates with finance or accounting experience seeking to transition into marketing will also be considered.
Work arrangement
- The position is in-house at the Saward Dawson office in Blackburn, with flexibility.
- Part-time hours are negotiable.
