Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Specialist to lead the marketing initiatives for BYD’s premium and luxury brands – DENZA and Yangwang – in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. Reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for crafting impactful marketing strategies, creating compelling content, and executing integrated online/offline campaigns to elevate brand visibility, strengthen market penetration, and support sales growth in the MEA market. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, especially sales, to align marketing efforts with business objectives and deliver measurable results for our high-end product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute region-tailored marketing strategies for DENZA and Yangwang brands in the MEA market, aligned with BYD’s global brand positioning and regional business goals.
- Create high-quality, culturally relevant marketing content (including but not limited to brand stories, product brochures, social media content, press releases, and event materials) to showcase the premium attributes and technological advantages of DENZA and Yangwang models.
- Plan, manage, and execute integrated online and offline marketing campaigns (e.g., digital ads, social media promotions, influencer collaborations, roadshows, and luxury experiential events) to enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
- Collaborate closely with the MEA sales team to provide tailored marketing tools, campaign support, and customer insights, ensuring marketing initiatives effectively empower sales activities and boost conversion rates.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with local media, industry influencers, partners, and key stakeholders in the MEA region to expand brand reach and secure high-quality brand exposure.
- Track, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives using relevant KPIs (e.g., brand awareness, engagement rate, lead generation, and ROI), providing data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences in the MEA premium automotive segment, integrating insights into marketing strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
- Support the development and implementation of regional brand building initiatives, ensuring consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing touchpoints.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of proven marketing experience, preferably in the automotive industry (especially premium/luxury brands) or the MEA market. Experience with high-end product marketing is a strong plus.
- Deep understanding of the MEA automotive market dynamics, cultural nuances, consumer behaviors, and digital marketing landscape (e.g., popular social media platforms, local media channels).
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic or other regional languages is highly desirable.
- Strong capability in content creation, campaign planning, and project execution, with a focus on results and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using marketing analytics tools and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with digital marketing platforms (e.g., social media management tools, ad platforms) is an advantage.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
- Passion for automotive brands, especially electric vehicles, and a keen interest in luxury marketing trends.
