Role Description
The Owner at The Energy Space will lead day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and overall business growth for the platform.
This full-time, on-site role in Pune City involves defining and executing TES’s vision, overseeing content and community initiatives, and building partnerships with stakeholders across the energy industry.
The Owner will manage budgeting, resource allocation, and performance metrics to ensure sustainable development of the business.
Responsibilities include guiding marketing and outreach efforts, maintaining high-quality engagement with the professional community, and identifying new opportunities for events, collaborations, and expansion.
The role also requires compliance with relevant regulations and fostering an inclusive, knowledge-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the energy sector, including traditional, renewable, and clean energy domains, and familiarity with global and regional energy trends.
- Experience in business leadership, entrepreneurship, or managing a professional platform or community-focused organization.
- Skills in strategic planning, operations management, and financial oversight to support sustainable growth.
- Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and networking within the energy industry.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent TES in public forums and professional events.
- Comfort with digital platforms, social media, and online community building to increase visibility and member engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, Public Policy, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
- Prior experience working on-site in a leadership role and readiness to be based in Pune City.
