Role Overview
Relay is looking for a Freelance Social Media & Marketing Manager based in the GCC.
This role will focus on attracting high-quality talent to the platform, building an engaged community, creating compelling content, and increasing awareness of freelance opportunities available through Relay.
The ideal candidate understands social media, digital marketing, and the evolving freelance economy, with a strong ability to create content that resonates with ambitious professionals.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in social media, content marketing, digital marketing, or community growth.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing best practices.
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
- Experience building and engaging online communities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using social media and marketing analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with freelance platforms, creator communities, recruitment marketplaces, or talent networks.
- Understanding of the future of work, creator economy, and independent talent landscape.
- Experience growing communities across the GCC and international markets.
- Familiarity with email marketing, SEO, and paid social campaigns.
