The senior marketing leader will build market presence and support long-term commercial expansion.
Role and responsibilities
- Own the marketing, positioning, and market-entry strategy in alignment with commercial targets.
- Create brand guidelines for visual identity, tone of voice, and messaging across touchpoints.
- Direct digital execution across the website, social channels, SEO, and targeted campaigns.
- Translate technical software capabilities into messaging for technical and commercial decision-makers.
- Track industry developments, competitor activity, and market shifts to maintain distinctive positioning.
- Define metrics, manage budgets, analyze ROI, and optimize spend using data-driven insights.
- Design the future marketing team structure and recruit specialist roles as the department expands.
- Partner with executive leadership and initially operate as a dedicated solo marketing lead.
Requirements
- Extensive marketing experience, including leadership of brand, digital, and managerial functions.
- Proven experience in software or technology environments.
- A background in data security, business software, or high-growth startups is ideal.
- Track record of creating brand foundations and market positioning from scratch.
- Practical experience managing web assets, content distribution, digital visibility, and marketing automation tools.
- Commercial acumen and experience collaborating with sales to drive pilot customer interest.
- Hands-on experience using reporting tools to measure channel performance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical ideas clearly and persuasively.
