Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Marketing Executive role based in Doha, Qatar.

The Marketing Executive will develop and implement marketing plans to strengthen brand presence and readership across GCC markets.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, analyzing audience trends, and identifying opportunities for selling in advertising packages, digital assets, and event sponsorships.

The role involves coordinating campaigns, supporting sales initiatives, preparing marketing materials, and collaborating with editorial, sales, and distribution teams to align messaging and promotions.

The Marketing Executive will also track key performance metrics, manage budgets for marketing activities, and build relationships with partners, agencies, and community organizations to enhance the newspaper’s market position.

Qualifications

  • Strong Marketing and Market Planning skills to design and execute effective campaigns across print and digital channels.
  • Proficiency in Market Research to assess audience needs, competitor activity, and opportunities in GCC markets.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to present ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven Sales and customer relationship skills to support advertising revenue growth and promotional partnerships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in media, publishing, or advertising within GCC or similar markets is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Doha, Qatar, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and basic analytics is beneficial.
