About the Job
Seeking an energetic Marketing Executive to execute and enhance Aldhafra Resort and leisure assets marketing strategies, spanning digital, social media, public relations, and beyond.
You'll team up with agencies, orchestrate engaging events and photoshoots, curate captivating online content and amplify our brand's visibility and engagement.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Implement, monitor, and evaluate the hotels’ marketing and communication objectives, which include digital, social, marketing, creative, and public relations, to support the quarterly and annual marketing plan.
- Support with copywriting for marketing activities such as email, social, flyers, website, digital ads, etc.
- Act as the liaison between the hotels and the appointed PR agency, in creating property press kits, press releases, media listings, maintaining press and key media contacts, influencer marketing, and any other PR requirements.
- Assist in hosting members of the media, strategic partners, and clients at functions and events whenever required to strengthen the reputation of the assets.
- Act as the liaison between the hotels and the appointed social media agency, monitor and launch paid social campaigns, review monthly calendars, attend tactical weekday/weekend coverages, and post on social channels when required.
- Organize photoshoots and video shoots with external agencies and coordinate with internal teams.
- Liaise with the in-house creative team by briefing projects promptly to produce marketing collateral.
- Track and maintain information about competitors’ marketing and communication activities (rooms and F&B) in the Abu Dhabi market, such as promotions, PR articles, advertising, collateral, and develop and update a filing system for all information.
- Assist in managing the online website content and imagery of the assets and any other print or digital channels.
- Handle effective communication with all departments in the properties to ensure efficient inter-property dissemination of information.
- Assist in establishing effective relationships with agencies, media partners, and stakeholders to effectively implement marketing and communication materials (collaterals, paid advertising, etc.), as well as assist in handling the production of all promotional materials, including gathering of supporting data and collateral and briefing agencies and/or external suppliers.
- Maintain and implement an effective filing and administrative system for all matters related to the marketing department, including but not limited to identifying and maintaining a comprehensive database of customers, media, and any other potential client base for effective and targeted communication.
- Assist in submitting monthly reports to the Corporate Office with up-to-date marketing activities for the properties.
- Attend inter-departmental meetings and handle the writing of minutes whenever required.
- Assist with photography of key internal functions whenever required.
- Support the Area Director of Marketing and the Marketing Manager with any other marketing-related tasks and responsibilities.
- About you
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
- 1 or more years of experience in a similar marketing role within the UAE in the hospitality industry
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Team player, professional, enthusiastic, and can multitask with a positive attitude.
