Role Description
The Marketing Content Manager is responsible for developing and executing content strategies that strengthen brand awareness, engage target audiences, and support business growth across digital and traditional marketing channels.
This role oversees the planning, creation, optimization, and distribution of high-quality content while ensuring consistency with brand messaging and marketing objectives.
Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive content strategies aligned with marketing goals, customer journeys, and business priorities.
The role manages editorial calendars, coordinates content production, and oversees the creation of articles, website content, social media posts, email campaigns, videos, presentations, case studies, and other marketing materials.
The position collaborates with marketing, product, design, sales, and cross-functional teams to produce compelling content that supports product launches, lead generation, customer engagement, and brand positioning.
It ensures all content is accurate, consistent, audience-focused, and optimized for multiple communication channels.
In addition, the role analyzes content performance using key metrics such as website traffic, engagement, conversion rates, search rankings, and campaign effectiveness.
It uses data-driven insights to optimize content strategies, improve audience engagement, and maximize marketing performance.
The role also conducts market research, monitors industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging digital platforms to identify new content opportunities and maintain a competitive brand presence.
It supports the continuous improvement of content processes, editorial standards, and content governance across the organization.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of content marketing, digital marketing, brand management, storytelling, and integrated marketing communications.
Ability to develop strategic content plans that align with business objectives and customer needs.
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), digital publishing platforms, SEO principles, web analytics tools, and marketing performance measurement.
Familiarity with social media management, email marketing, and marketing automation platforms is advantageous.
Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and audience-focused content across multiple formats and channels.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics, identify content opportunities, and continuously optimize marketing effectiveness.
Excellent project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple content initiatives, manage editorial schedules, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
