About Inveraray Castle And Argyll Estates
Inveraray Castle and Gardens is one of Scotland’s most iconic historic and visually striking destinations.
Nestled on the stunning shores of Loch Fyne in Argyll, Inveraray Castle has been the ancestral home of the Dukes of Argyll and Clan Campbell since the 18th century and remains so today.
The Opportunity
Inveraray Castle and Argyll Estates are seeking a creative, digitally confident Marketing and Social Media Executive to join the team in a hands-on development role.
This is an opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who already has excellent social media skills, a strong eye for content and the energy to learn.
You will not be expected to arrive as a fully formed marketing manager.
Instead, you will be supported with practical experience, mentoring and relevant marketing training, with the aim of growing into broader marketing responsibility over time.
For the right person, this is an exceptional place to learn: a historic castle, private family home, visitor attraction, garden, events venue, filming location, retail destination and working estate, all set on the shores of Loch Fyne.
The successful candidate must already be highly confident creating social media content.
Broader marketing skills can be taught.
Creativity, visual instinct, digital confidence and initiative need to be strong from day one.
The Role
Reporting to the Visitor Experience Manager, this will be a practical, creative and varied role focused on social media, content creation and day-to-day marketing support.
You will help bring Inveraray Castle to life across digital channels, capturing content, writing copy, supporting campaigns and helping visitors, event clients and wider audiences understand what makes the Castle and the Estate so special.
Over time, with training and support, you will develop broader marketing skills including campaign planning, website updates, email marketing, basic reporting, brand consistency and visitor communication.
