Role and Organization

The Marketing Account Manager owns marketing across SEE Venues, ImmerSEE, and SEE Institute, three brands associated with The Sustainable City in Dubai.

SEE Venues operates event spaces, ImmerSEE is an immersive 360-degree space, and SEE Institute is the city's research and innovation home.

The role is described as a client-side account owner, not a support role.

The position is full-time and on-site at The Sustainable City.

Account Ownership and Partners

  • Keep the three brands distinct and manage marketing activity across them.
  • Run weekly priorities and decision-making with Hyphen, the research-based marketing partner.
  • Brief and gate creative production with Twenty50, the creative partner.
  • Align the marketing calendar with the venue booking calendar.
  • Hyphen retains responsibility for strategy, paid media, measurement, and reporting frameworks; Twenty50 produces creative work against briefs.

Leads and CRM

  • Respond to inbound inquiries from LinkedIn, Meta, WhatsApp, the website, walk-ins, and exhibitions.
  • Qualify leads by booking tier, including high-value agency and corporate inquiries and bookings below AED 50,000.
  • Pass business development event type, date, headcount, budget band, and space-fit information.
  • Keep Odoo records sourced, staged, and traceable to the originating campaign; follow up on a schedule.

Content and Reporting

  • Own content calendars across all three brands and coordinate shoots, venue walkthroughs, live event coverage, and post-event assets.
  • Maintain galleries, specification sheets, floor plans, lookbooks, and case studies.
  • Feed client questions, objections, and decisions back into strategy.
  • Track weekly inquiry volume, response time, qualification rate, and source; report monthly cost per lead, conversion rates, and pipeline value.
  • Present analysis and recommendations in monthly reviews rather than only screenshots.

Candidate Requirements

  • 3+ years in marketing, account management, or a commercial role in events, venues, or hospitality; UAE market experience is required.
  • Must have handled inbound leads and be comfortable picking up the phone.
  • Able to hold agencies to deadlines and follow through.
  • Writes clearly and professionally in English; Arabic is a strong plus.
  • Organized and willing to persistently follow up on leads.
  • Understands B2B buyers, longer sales cycles, and the role of follow-up in closing business.

Useful, Not Essential

  • Events, venue, hospitality, or MICE background is useful but not essential.
  • Odoo or a comparable CRM is useful but not essential.
  • Comfort reading Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn Campaign Manager is useful but not essential; the role does not own paid media.
  • An existing network among UAE event agencies and corporate event teams is useful but not essential.

First 90 Days

  • By day 30, own every inbound lead, respond within two working hours, and keep the CRM current.
  • By day 60, run content calendars across all three brands and send briefs to Twenty50.
  • By day 90, present a monthly review of source-to-booking performance and recommended changes.
