Citi's Markets Business Risk and Control Technology Inventory team provides inventory and workflow solutions supporting documentation and regulatory obligations for e-trading.
The role is a senior applications development position focused on business delivery, application architecture, and technology supporting market risk and control processes.
Core responsibilities
- Deliver the application business book of work and contribute to future-state architecture.
- Champion CI/CD, automated testing, agile, DevOps, and continuous improvement using delivery performance indicators.
- Participate in design, planning, estimation, requirements gathering, and technical specification activities.
- Maintain project and technical documentation and identify risks throughout the SDLC.
- Support production processes, analyze issue patterns, and collaborate with operations and business stakeholders.
- Develop coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
- Resolve complex problems and ensure application design aligns with the architecture blueprint.
- Coach junior developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
Required experience
- Java and test-driven development are essential.
- Experience with React front-end development and software application programming.
- Extensive system analysis experience and experience managing successful projects.
- Subject matter expertise in at least one area of applications development.
- Ability to work autonomously, adapt priorities, communicate effectively, and deliver ideas into production.
Advantageous technologies
- Additional experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift is advantageous.
- Additional experience with Kafka is advantageous.
- Additional experience with SQL Server, MongoDB, or S3 is advantageous.
