Market Research Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research, including surveys, interviews, and data analysis.
• Translate findings into recommendations for product direction, positioning, and partnerships.
• Monitor competitors and map opportunities for indie and co-development projects.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Collaborate with studio leadership and creative teams to inform strategy and game development roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and executing research in entertainment, games, or technology, with a strong foundation in market research and analysis.
• Demonstrated analytical skills, including data interpretation, synthesis, and actionable insight development.
• Ability to present business insights supporting product strategy, audience targeting, and studio growth.
• Experience with competitive intelligence, competitor tracking, trend identification, and benchmarking.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
• Proficiency with research and analysis tools such as Excel, survey platforms, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest in games, game development, and indie studios; Unreal Engine project familiarity is an advantage.
• Able to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, manage multiple part-time projects, and collaborate in a small agile team.
