Role Description
This is a part-time, hybrid Market Intelligence Manager role based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility for some work from home.
The Market Intelligence Manager will collect, analyze, and synthesize data on global data center markets, power availability, and infrastructure trends to support site selection and colocation advisory projects.
Responsibilities include conducting market and competitive research, monitoring regulatory and energy-sector developments, and building structured reports and dashboards that inform client recommendations and internal strategy.
The role will involve collaborating with leadership to refine market hypotheses, validate assumptions with data, and present concise insights that guide go/no-go decisions on powered land opportunities.
The Market Intelligence Manager will also support the development of thought leadership materials, briefings, and client-facing presentations derived from market and competitive intelligence.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in market-focused skills, including Market Intelligence, Market Analysis, and Market Research, with the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in Competitive Intelligence, including tracking competitor activities, market positioning, and emerging trends in data centers, energy, and digital infrastructure.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, with experience using quantitative and qualitative methods, data tools, and structured frameworks for decision support.
- Proven experience in technology, energy, real estate, or data center markets, preferably in an analytical, strategy, or research capacity.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive-ready reports, briefs, and presentations.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time, hybrid setup, manage multiple workstreams, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with power markets, grid infrastructure, or large-scale real estate development is highly beneficial.
