Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Marine Procurement Specialist
to manage the sourcing and purchasing of spare parts, consumables, and provisions for our fleet.
The ideal candidate will have experience in maritime procurement, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to ensure timely and cost-effective supply operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and purchase
- spare parts, technical equipment, and consumables

- Coordinate procurement of
- provisions, bonded stores, and other ship supplies
- Liaise with vessels, superintendents, and technical teams to identify requirements
- Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers worldwide
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to ports in line with vessel schedules
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain procurement records
- Build and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maritime regulations
- Optimize purchasing costs while maintaining quality standards
- Handle urgent and last-minute procurement requests
Requirements
- Proven experience in
- procurement
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple requests simultaneously
- Familiarity with procurement systems and ERP tools
- Good understanding of international shipping and port logistics
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
