The Operations Representative is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and supporting daily operational activities related to marine services such as vessel support, maintenance coordination, crew logistics, and port operations.
The role ensures smooth execution of marine service projects, timely communication with clients and partners, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor marine service operations, including vessel berthing, inspection schedules, and port service arrangements.
Serve as the primary contact between clients, service providers, and internal departments to ensure efficient execution of marine services.
Manage the movement of vessels and crew logistics.
Follow up on spare parts, tools, and equipment deliveries to meet service schedules.
Support the preparation of project quotations, timelines, and operational budgets.
Maintain records of operations, inspections, and service history.
Assist in resolving operational issues and customer complaints professionally and promptly.
Qualifications
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in marine operations or port services (preferably in a similar role).
Strong understanding of marine and port operations, vessel logistics, and maritime safety practices.
Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and adapt to fast-paced environments.
Proficient in MS Office Suite; knowledge of marine software systems is a plus.
Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
Willingness to work flexible hours and be available on call as needed.
