Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Marine/Civil Supervisor role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
The Marine/Civil Supervisor will oversee marine and civil construction activities, ensuring that all work aligns with approved designs, technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Daily responsibilities include coordinating site operations, supervising marine and civil works, monitoring contractor performance, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
The role involves liaising with project managers, engineers, clients, and regulatory authorities, as well as preparing site reports, progress updates, and documentation related to quality, health, safety, and environment.
The Marine/Civil Supervisor will also support site inspections, risk assessments, and on-the-job training to maintain high standards of performance and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience in supervising civil or marine construction projects, preferably in infrastructure or coastal developments.
- Solid knowledge of construction methods, quality control, HSE regulations, and local regulatory requirements in the UAE or GCC region.
- Effective communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on safety, risk management, and timely issue resolution on site.
