Role Description
The Marble Technician will be responsible for the installation, cutting, polishing, and finishing of marble surfaces used within the company’s facilities and client projects.
This full-time, on-site role in the United Arab Emirates includes inspecting marble materials, preparing substrates, performing repairs, and ensuring that all work meets quality, safety, and aesthetic standards.
The role involves operating relevant tools and machinery, maintaining equipment in good working condition, and coordinating with supervisors and other technical staff to complete tasks on schedule.
The Marble Technician will also assist with measurements, layout planning, and adherence to project specifications, while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in marble cutting, installation, polishing, and finishing, including use of hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of materials, adhesives, and surface preparation techniques related to marble and stone work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and project specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, quality control, and adherence to safety procedures and company standards.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in workshop or site environments.
- Previous experience as a Marble Technician, Stone Mason, or similar role in construction, fit-out, or manufacturing is highly beneficial.
- Basic communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages commonly used in the UAE is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Dubai/UAE, follow supervisory instructions, and collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
