Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• The Manufacturing Expert will analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, and develop strategies to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• The expert will conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
• They will develop and implement training programs to educate employees on new processes, technologies, and best practices, and provide coaching and guidance to ensure successful adoption.
• The Manufacturing Expert will work closely with stakeholders to identify and prioritize projects, and develop business cases to support investment in new technologies, processes, and initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in a relevant field, such as engineering, operations management, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• They will have a deep understanding of manufacturing principles, practices, and technologies, including lean manufacturing, six sigma, and total productive maintenance.
• The expert will have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends and patterns, and develop effective solutions.
• They will have experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and quality, and be able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• The candidate will have a proven track record of driving process improvements, reducing costs, and enhancing productivity, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
