Manufacturing Operator
Role Overview
GENERAL FUNCTION Perform a variety of duties related to lens manufacturing.
As a member of a high performance team, you will be responsible for a variety of jobs.
As the team progresses, you, along with your team members will be a key decision maker in the operation of your part of the business.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the production of ophthalmic lenses, which includes, degating, inspection, inking, and packaging.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Job experience will be considered in place of a high school diploma or GED.
The ability to pass an eye exam.
Manual dexterity.
A mix of standing and sitting is required.
Some lifting up to 20 lbs. required.
Anyone 18 years or older may apply.
Ability to work in a controlled room environment Team-oriented mindset Strong communication skills Positive can-do attitude PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS A high school diploma or GED.
Manufacturing experience is a plus.
Pay Range: 18.14 - 26.00 This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business.
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
