Role Description
This full-time, on-site role is based in the Riyadh Region and combines responsibilities in manufacturing operations management, production leadership, R&D, and technical expertise in plastic molding and mold spare parts.
The Operations Manager will oversee daily production activities, ensuring that manufacturing plans are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.
The role includes monitoring performance metrics, managing production teams, coordinating maintenance of molds and equipment, and resolving technical issues related to plastic processing and tooling.
The manager will collaborate with R&D to support new product and process development, including trials, optimization of cycle times, and cost-reduction initiatives.
Additional responsibilities include implementing lean practices, maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, managing budgets, and reporting operational performance to senior management.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Production Planning and Manufacturing, including scheduling, resource allocation, and capacity utilization.
- Candidates should possess solid expertise in Operations Management and Manufacturing Operations, with a focus on efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Candidates should possess demonstrated capabilities in Manufacturing Operations Management, including performance monitoring, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Relevant experience in plastics manufacturing, injection or blow molding, and mold spare parts management is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related technical field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Proven leadership experience managing production or operations teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex technical and operational challenges.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, maintenance, quality, and senior management.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
