Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, logistics, or production support experience preferred. Experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment preferred. Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems preferred. Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and organizational skills . Ability to read and interpret work orders, routers, bills of material, and basic manufacturing documentation. Ability to recognize and communicate material shortages, production delays, and bottlenecks. Ability to safely use material-handling equipment after required training or certification. Basic inventory-control and production-tracking skills. Ability to follow written work instructions and safety procedures. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently and on a team. Ability to identify problems and support continuous improvement activities. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Frequently bend, twist, stoop, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and reach at or above shoulder level. Frequently use hands and arms to handle, grip, grasp, and move materials, tools, and equipment. Ability to climb on and off material-handling equipment and maintain balance while performing assigned duties. Ability to lift and carry up to 33 pounds independently and move heavier materials with assistance or approved lifting equipment. Ability to safely perform the physical movements and maintain the coordination necessary to operate forklifts, cranes, jib hoists, floor scrubbers, and other material-handling equipment. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
