Manufacturing Engineer

Brief Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to join our team specializing in the manufacturing of Switchgear Panels.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and enhancing operational efficiency in our SWGR production line.
• This role requires a deep understanding of SWGR manufacturing principles, advanced problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each: (This will describe the overall core responsibilities of the role, decision making responsibilities etc.)
• Preparing production documentation necessary for product manufacturing (new projects, prototypes, and assembly).
• Improving existing operations, including the introduction of new methods and procedures.
• Identifying ways to reduce production costs and resolving technical issues in manufacturing.
• Collaborating with technical and other departments to prepare cost estimates for new projects and their improvement.
• Participating in the procurement and design of handling and manufacturing equipment for production.
• Actively participating (together with the Lean Supervisor) in lean projects focused on eliminating waste.
• Performs all other activities related to the agreed type of work as directed by the direct supervisor.
• Follows the procedures, rules, and principles of the integrated management system.
• Works in accordance with the principles of lean manufacturing and 5S.
• Works in compliance with the rules of international trade (ITC).
• Contributes to the development and adherence to standards, focusing on key areas such as customer, company culture, and the continuous improvement system.
• Within the continuous improvement system, submits improvement proposals in line with company goals.
• Respects environmental protection principles.

Required Education

Required Experience

• 8 years of experience in the field of electrical engineering
• Language Skills: English – fluent in both spoken and written communication
• Good knowledge of CAD/CAM systems
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly those related to Lean Manufacturing
