QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education and Required Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (4 year) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Mechatronic, or other relevant discipline) or a related field with a focus on electronics and manufacturing processes or equivalent industry or military training experience.
  • New graduates or candidates with up to 4 years of engineering support experience in electronics manufacturing preferred.
  • Required
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical documents such as wiring diagrams and drawings effectively.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards such as ISO9001/13485 or AS9100.
  • Understanding of the concepts of New Product Introduction and how to execute projects including supporting functions.
  • Understands and can execute Design for Assembly and Test tasks as required.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Capacity to learn and apply new skills in a dynamic manufacturing services environment.
  • Engineering project management and project leadership skills an asset.
  • WORKING ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel office equipment, objects, tools, or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and identification, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential and non-essential functions of this job.   • Working Conditions
  • The employee must wear designated PPE and/or electrostatic dissipative protection where required. Otherwise, office/business casual attire, consistent with site specific safety guidelines is appropriate. The working environment is generally clean; however, this position may be exposed to occasional dust, metals/solder occasional exposure to high noise levels from operating machines or physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts.
  • In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $70,000-$105,000 USD per year. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, location, and shift. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on the date of hire, schedule type, and hours worked.
