About This Role
This role involves a range of responsibilities related to support kitchen staff, food preparation, kitchen organization, and collaboration with the culinary team.

Responabilities:
Food Preparation:
- Follow recipes and prepare ingredients for cooking.
- Measure and portion ingredients accurately.
- Handle and store food items in accordance with food safety standards.
Cooking:
- Cook and grill various types of food, including meats, vegetables, and seafood.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality.
- Adjust heat levels and cooking methods as needed.
Menu Execution:
- Execute menu items consistently and according to established standards.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and organized service.
Plating and Presentation:
- Plate dishes attractively to meet presentation standards.
- Work with the kitchen team to add garnishes and final touches.
Kitchen Organization:
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and restocking.
- Follow proper cleaning and sanitation procedures.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other kitchen staff, including chefs, line cooks, and kitchen assistants.
- Communicate effectively to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
- Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
- Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
Adherence to Standards:
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Follow standard operating procedures and guidelines set by the head chef or kitchen manager.
Quality Control:
- Monitor the quality of ingredients and finished products.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to superiors.
Flexibility:
- Be adaptable to changing menus, kitchen procedures, and guest preferences.
- Handle special requests and dietary restrictions as needed.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
- Participate in routine kitchen cleaning tasks and maintenance.
Time Management:
- Manage time effectively to meet service demands and complete preparation tasks.
- Prioritize tasks during busy periods.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with servers and other restaurant staff to ensure smooth service.
- Notify colleagues of any shortages or additional needs.
Training and Development:
- Assist in training new kitchen staff.
- Stay informed about new culinary techniques and industry trends.
Maintaining Confidentiality:
- Responsible to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information, including but not limited to company strategies, financial data, customer lists, and proprietary technologies.
Policies & Procedures:
- Adherence and ensure compliance of company policies & procedures.
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
