About The Role
We are looking for a
Managing Editor (AI-Savvy)
to lead the editorial direction of our AI-powered industry newsletter.
This role is responsible for ensuring that AI-generated content is
accurate, relevant, high-quality, and publication-ready
.
You will act as the
human editorial layer between AI-generated news and final publication
, defining what matters, what gets published, and how stories are presented.
This is a critical role in shaping the voice, credibility, and quality of our AI-driven media products.
Key Responsibilities
- Define editorial direction for weekly AI-generated newsletters
- Review, edit, and approve AI-generated news content before publication
- Ensure all content is accurate, fact-checked, and high-quality
- Select and prioritize the most relevant industry stories
- Improve headlines, summaries, and narrative clarity
- Build and maintain editorial guidelines and tone of voice
- Collaborate with AI and automation workflows to improve content quality
- Identify gaps in AI-generated coverage and add editorial insight
- Work closely with marketing and events teams to align content strategy
- Monitor engagement metrics and improve content performance over time
- Monitor performance metrics and test improvements in format, subject lines, and engagement
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in:
- Journalism
- Editorial roles
- Content marketing
- B2B media or publishing
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Proven ability to fact-check and verify information quickly
- Strong editorial judgment (ability to decide what matters, not just what is written)
- Comfortable AI tools such as:
- ChatGPT
- Claude
- Understanding of digital publishing or newsletter formats
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
