Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science Analytics, Business Analytics, or equivalent experience is required.
• At least five years of industry experience in analytics and information systems, including at least three years in a leadership role.
• Effective oral and written communication; customer-focused collaboration; results orientation; ability to manage multiple projects and time effectively.

Tools and technical knowledge

• Relevant tools include CCL, SQL, Nomad, Oracle, Vertica, Snowflake, Tableau, Spotfire, Sisense, Qlik, and Microsoft Power BI.
• Data preparation tools listed include Tableau Prep, Hadoop, Alteryx, Paxata, Trifacta, Altair, and Talend.
• Statistical and data science tools listed include R, SAS, SPSS, Matlab, Minitab, Python, Dataiku, DataRobot, Cnvrg, and Anaconda.

Principal accountabilities

• Manage departmental strategic initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
• Lead the people and processes responsible for accurate data collection, processing, modeling, analysis, and insights.
• Coordinate transparent communication with department leadership, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders.
• Manage resources and promote team growth through performance goals, departmental goals, and development plans.
• Oversee analytics request intake, alignment review, tracking, prioritization, approval, assignment, resources, timelines, expectations, and deliverables.
• Work with executive leadership to deliver data-driven decisions and analytics solutions aligned with strategic goals and enterprise priorities.
• Manage project or area finances and operating budgets; advise leaders and executives on analytics.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, regulatory agencies, third parties, system leaders, and internal departments.
• Support reporting and analytics for system requests, regulatory audits, research, and external submissions.
• Oversee and advise on the design and delivery of analytic solutions and products.
• Develop quality controls and departmental standards; manage staffing, recruitment, selection, orientation, training, retention, and employee growth.
