Manager – Metals & Minerals Trading | Dubai
We are partnering with a leading international trading organisation to recruit a Manager within their Mineral & Metal Resources division in Dubai.
This is a commercially driven role focused on end-to-end trading and business development, with a strong emphasis on ferrous materials alongside broader metals exposure
Key Responsibilities
- Lead trading, sales, and procurement activities across metal commodities, with a key focus on ferrous materials (HBI, scrap), copper and aluminium products.
- Build and grow relationships with suppliers, customers, and key market participants.
- Identify and develop new trading opportunities, including new products, supply sources, and customers.
- Conduct market analysis to generate actionable commercial insights.
- Manage the full trade lifecycle including negotiation, logistics, contract execution, and reporting.
- Proactively assess and manage commercial and operational risks.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in metals trading, sales, or marketing within the Mineral & Metal Resources sector.
- Strong experience in ferrous materials, copper, and aluminium.
- Proven track record in business development and deal execution.
- Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of trade finance, logistics, and contract structures.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
