Integrated event planning

• Lead planning workstreams and translate event objectives into functional plans with milestones, owners, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Challenge planning gaps, align interfaces, resolve conflicting requirements, and escalate decisions requiring senior direction.
• Facilitate workshops and maintain action, decision, risk, and issue records with owners and follow-up.
• Set up governance and reporting to show progress, constraints, and decisions needed to protect milestones.
• Support readiness planning by agreeing evidence requirements, identifying gaps, and coordinating corrective actions.

Advisory and client delivery

• Contribute to venue operating models, business planning, feasibility assessments, and benchmarking where relevant.
• Contribute to sports strategy, governance, and commercial advisory assignments as required.
• Manage client relationships, coordinate stakeholder alignment, and escalate material decisions to the Director or engagement lead.
• Build Trivandi’s Saudi sport, events, and destination network; lead Arabic-language client deliverables and presentations.
• Manage consulting workstreams, including scope, workplans, resourcing, budgets, deliverable quality, and deadlines; coach junior colleagues.
• Support proposals, expressions of interest, and RFP responses; drive innovation, growth initiatives, and collaboration across global offices.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support Saudi talent development; contribute to internal business operations and marketing communications.
• Lead research and analysis, test assumptions, develop recommendations, and use financial and commercial analysis where relevant.

Experience and expertise

• Demonstrated experience planning a mega-event or comparable complex international event, with personal responsibility for coordinating multiple functions, milestones, and dependencies.
• Strong strategy and advisory capability demonstrated through problem-solving, research, options appraisal, and recommendations influencing client decisions.
• Experience developing integrated workplans, facilitating planning workshops, and maintaining governance, action, and decision records.
• Able to produce concise reports, executive presentations, and planning tools; strong working skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English; highly numerate with strong quantitative and conceptual problem-solving ability.
• Expo planning experience is strongly preferred. Management consultancy experience is desirable; equivalent advisory work in an organizing committee, host organization, or delivery partner is relevant.
• Saudi government, giga-project, or PIF-backed organization experience and understanding of Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s sports and events sector are relevant; Etimad familiarity is an advantage.

Location and travel

• Role is based in Riyadh and may require work at client locations.
• Travel may be required within Saudi Arabia, the wider GCC/MENA region, and the UK, as well as internationally for project needs.
