  • In this role, your key responsibilities include
  • :
  • Manage the implementation of internal operational risk assessments and policy frameworks with key result indicators for assigned areas within GBS to ensure risk is independently assessed, captured, monitored and mitigated.
  • Manage and oversee the risk and control self-assessment programme including effective control testing and deployment for assigned areas within GBS to ensure in line with the Bank’s Operational Risk policies
  • Manage and oversee due diligence reviews and ‘challenge’ sessions for assigned areas within GBS to ensure the process and control robustness of the framework.
  • Manage and track operational loss reporting, booking and tracking for assigned areas within GBS in consultation with GORM to ensure Operational Risk requirements are met.
  • Manage and oversee the GBS BCM framework for assigned areas within GBS, including impact assessments, recovery sites and disaster drills to ensure its robustness and agility in responding to disaster.

  • Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own and employee contribution to business performance.
  • Organize and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved, and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems.
  • The ideal candidate should have the following experience:
  • At least 6 years of experience in operations/Banking services with at least 3 years in risk management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Accounting or similar
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Working knowledge of Banking systems
  • Analytical and logical thinking skills
