Location

  • Gangaikondan Grade/ Level 1D Job Objective Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving the Quality Management System (QMS). The role ensures compliance with applicable standards, customer requirements, and statutory regulations to deliver defect-free products/projects and continuous improvement across operations. Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • KPIs 1)
  • Implement and maintain ISO 9001 and other applicable quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Assist in preparing and updating quality manuals, SOPs, and formats.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
  • 2)
  • Monitor incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and Quality Control Plans.
  • Analyze inspection results and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure calibration of measuring and testing equipment.
  • 3)
  • Plan and conduct internal quality audits and support external audits.
  • Ensure timely closure of audit observations and non-conformities.
  • Coordinate with certification bodies, customers, and third-party auditors.
  • Ensure statutory and customer compliance at all times.
  • 4)
  • Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and test certificates.
  • Prepare periodic quality performance reports for management review.
  • Track quality KPIs, rejection trends, and improvement actions.
  • SECTION VI: ROLE PROFILE REQUIREMENTS Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Industrial / Production / Quality Engineering)
  • OR
  • Diploma in Engineering with relevant and extensive experience in Quality Management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Industrial / Production / Quality Engineering)

Experience

  • 10–15 years of overall experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control
  • Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
