Role overview
Leads Pleora's Product Management organization and product portfolio, reporting to the Vice President of Product Marketing.
Connects customers and markets with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Executive Leadership to shape product strategy and growth.
Leadership and portfolio
- Leads and develops the Product Management organization and directly manages and coaches Product Managers.
- Owns portfolio strategy, roadmaps, lifecycle decisions, investment recommendations, and portfolio performance.
- Establishes customer discovery, product validation, and Voice of Customer processes.
- Evaluates technology partnerships and build-versus-buy-versus-partner opportunities.
- Owns value propositions, market requirements, positioning, commercialization planning, launches, and sales enablement.
- Promotes AI-enabled tools, data-driven decisions, performance metrics, and cross-functional alignment.
- Represents Pleora at conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and partner engagements.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 8 years in Product Management, Product Strategy, Product Marketing, or related technology leadership.
- At least 3 years of people leadership, including managing or developing Product Managers or comparable professionals.
- Demonstrated B2B technology product strategy, portfolio roadmap, investment, customer discovery, and market validation experience.
- Experience with business cases, product positioning, commercialization, go-to-market execution, launches, and sales enablement.
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
- MBA or equivalent business and leadership experience is an asset.
Capabilities and industry experience
- Strong portfolio management, commercial acumen, analytical judgment, financial analysis, and investment prioritization.
- Effective communication, presentation, stakeholder management, influencing, and cross-functional leadership.
- Experience in machine vision, industrial automation, embedded systems, defence, medical imaging, networking, semiconductor, or related markets is an asset.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools and data-driven processes to improve decisions, analysis, and productivity.

Compensation
- Salary range is CAD 130,000 to CAD 160,000, commensurate with experience.
